Alphatron Marine and Cobham SATCOM sign Certified Service Centre contract further increasing partner network

Cobham SATCOM, a market leading provider of radio and satellite communications solutions, has announced that Alphatron Marine,  a world renowned supplier of integrated bridge solutions, will be joining its Service 2.0 network as one of its new Certified Service Centres (CSC). The addition of Alphatron Marine to Cobham SATCOM’s extensive world-class service network, will further enable SAILOR and Sea Tel users to access efficient, high quality and cost-efficient services wherever they are in the world.

The Service 2.0 program aims to optimise user service experience and enable faster resolutions and higher first-time-fix rates through providing users with access to a robust, highly trained global partner network. By choosing a CSC, the user can access a company that is committed to Cobham SATCOM’s service policies, providing them with immediate access to all the relevant spare parts, support and information, and highly skilled technicians.

The addition of Alphatron Marine as a CSC, in the Netherlands and Belgium, strengthens Cobham SATCOM’s leading position as the world’s largest, most experienced and reliable service partner network. The increased prominence of specialist technicians, servicing critical communication hardware in over 100 countries, further enhances the prevalence of rapid and reliable connectivity at sea and overall digitalisation of the shipping industry.
