Baltic Workboats have delivered 24-meter patrol vessel “Gintaras Žagunis” to Lithuanian State Border Guard Service”.
Main tasks of the PATROL 24 WP will be border patrolling, border surveillance, search and rescue in Lithuanian territorial waters as well as in the FRONTEX joint maritime operations.
“Gintaras Žagunis” has LOA of 25-meters and vessel has MTU main engines installed which guarantee top speed of over 26 knots.
The vessel is designed to be operated by 2 to 8 crew members. “Gintaras Žagunis” has numerous features to aid surveillance and patrolling options such as RHIB deck boat in specific RHIB well, integrated video thermal surveillance system and 360 degree visibility wheelhouse. PATROL 24 WP boasts high fuel efficiency and low noise and vibration levels thanks to the Baltic Workboats patented wave-piercing hull design.

PATROL 24 WP is based on the wave-piercing 24-meter platform of which three units have also been delivered to German Customs in 2018.
