Boluda Towage Opts for Med Marine’s MED-A2885 Series

Boluda Towage, a leading towage operator in the world, chooses Med Marine’s MED-A2885 series RAstar 2800 design. Med Marine’s unit was chosen by Boluda due to its wide range of operational capacities such as daily ship towage, salvage and emergency response, with fire-fighting systems and equipment for preventing pollution.

The closing ceremony for the MED-A2885 series, designed by Canadian Naval Architects Robert Allan exclusively for Med Marine took place at Med Marine’s head office with participation of General Manager Jorge Rosety as well as Charo Coll, Chartering Manager of Boluda in Istanbul in April 2023.

The vessel was named as “VB Magnum” and set sail to her home port Hamburg on 21st April.

Med Marine’s Sales Manager Melis Üçüncü comments on the contract: A fruitful cooperation between all teams involved contributed to the existing business ties with Boluda Towage. We are very proud to be working with Boluda on this occasion.
