Camarc Celebrates Pair of Fire Boats for Hellenic Fire Service

Camarc, a leading shipbuilder, is proud to announce the launch of two impressive Fire Boats for the Hellenic Fire Service. These state-of-the-art vessels, built by Tehnomont Shipyard.

The these BV Class vessels are 25,5 meters long, 7,3 meters wide. They have capacity for 10 crew members and they can accommodate additional 20 casualties. The vessels are powered by a triple MAN engine & Hamilton waterjet installation achieving max speeds up to 30 Knots. The main propulsion engines will be utilised to provide both station keeping and firefighting capabilities without the need for additional engines to install & maintain.

The two fire pumps onboard these Fire Boats are designed to supply three JASON fire cannons, enabling their crews to tackle fires with precision and force. What makes these vessels truly exceptional is that their main propulsion engines double as firefighting capabilities, eliminating the need for additional engines. This means less maintenance and cost for the Hellenic Fire Service, while still ensuring optimal performance.
