DMT Marine Equipment – 20 years of tradition in designing and producing Winches and Deck Equipment!

DMT Marine Equipment has started writing history in 2001 with only four engineers, in a small apartment fitted as a design office in Romania and a strong sales team located in the Netherlands. In its early years, the company’s activity was focused on sales, engineering and commissioning on board.  

Over the years, the company has grown to be active across three continents with sales offices. Back in Romania, new production facilities (assembly and testing halls of the highest standards) were built, all focused on the manufacturing and maintenance of tailor-made winches, with no limits in size or complexity. 

Nowadays, DMT designs, produces and tests all its equipment in-house, as well as assembling electric and hydraulic control systems provided with standard DMT CPP (core PLC programs) for easy global remote intervention.  

Our great technological achievements contributed to building an international reputation that is well taken care of by our 250 highly dedicated colleagues around the world. By incorporating the latest innovations in our projects, we continue our principle of creating the best products for the best price range. Our goal is mainly related to the customers’ satisfaction, having a perfect understanding of the problems that downtimes can cause in terms of financial losses for our end-users. 

Today, after 20 years of being on the market, DMT strongly believes that compliance to high-quality standards assures safe operations, cost optimization and operational efficiency. How can all of this be possible unless, by combining attention to details, precision, quality (from the first step of selecting the raw material to coating the end product), and dedication?!
