Erik Thun Group Selects Cetasol’s iHelm Solution to Enhance Energy Management Across Its Entire Fleet

In a significant development for maritime energy management, Cetasol is pleased to announce that the Erik Thun Group has chosen its innovative iHelm solution for installation on its entire fleet of nearly 50 vessels. The selection of iHelm by Erik Thun Group, a renowned name in Northern European short-sea shipping since 1938, marks an important step in their journey towards enhanced energy management and sustainability. This order was made after Erik Thun had tested iHelm on their dry cargo vessel Eken. Cetasol’s iHelm system will support Erik Thun’s fleet operations by providing actionable insights and a comprehensive platform for readable and sorted data management.

Dynamic AI for automated emission statistics

iHelm sets itself apart with its dynamic AI capabilities that adapt seamlessly to both repeatable and unique maritime operations. The system is not only a tool for energy management but also a robust framework for reducing emissions through smart, data-driven recommendations.

With a screen on the bridge, the seafarer can instantaneously see how the fuel consumption comparing to similar trips. With the iHelm software we can collect all data to our office and with the built-in AI tool the analysis can be done and adapt to what suits our needs.
