Fischer Panda UK Expands Power Portfolio With Instagrid Partnership

Instagrid’s portable battery systems expand Fischer Panda UK’s power solutions for marine, mobile and off-grid applications

Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions has been appointed as a UK distributor for German portable power specialist Instagrid, expanding its portfolio of engineered power solutions for marine, mobile and off-grid applications.

The partnership introduces a lightweight, modular portable power solution for applications where reliable power is essential. Weighing around 20 kilograms and compact enough to be carried in one hand, Instagrid ONE delivers 3.6 kW continuous output, while the LINK and LINK MAX system add-ons allow users to increase capacity and output voltage as requirements evolve.

For Fischer Panda UK, the addition reflects the continued evolution of customer requirements across all three markets. In the marine sector, Instagrid is well suited to refit work, marina maintenance, temporary onboard power and shoreside support. Within defence and specialist vehicles, its quiet, emission-free operation makes it well suited to field operations, emergency services, remote working and temporary power requirements where portability, safety and rapid deployment are essential.

Chris Fower, Managing Director of Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions, said, “We’re seeing increasing demand for portable power across all three of our markets, whether that’s supporting engineers during a refit, powering equipment away from the vehicle or providing flexible energy where shore power simply isn’t available. Instagrid is a natural addition to our portfolio, giving us another high-quality solution that complements the integrated power systems we already design and support.”

Andy Barnby, Clean Energy Specialist at Instagrid, added, “Fischer Panda UK has built an excellent reputation for technical expertise and supporting customers with engineered power solutions. We’re delighted to partner with a company that shares our commitment to innovation and customer support, and we look forward to introducing Instagrid technology to even more professional users throughout the UK.”

The Fischer Panda UK team has recently completed product training with Instagrid and will be showcasing the new range for the first time at this September’s exhibitions, including:

  • The Emergency Services Show | Stand H65
  • DVD | Stand C3-B17
  • Southampton International Boat Show | Stand W2

Visitors will be able to see the Instagrid system first-hand and discuss how portable battery power can integrate into their wider power strategy.
