Galaxy Commercial RIBs Launch in UK

Galaxy Commercial Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) are making their UK debut at Seawork 2025, introducing a new standard in rugged, commercial-specification RIBs engineered for professional users. Designed to excel in the most demanding environments, Galaxy RIBs combine exceptional seaworthiness, mission versatility, and uncompromising durability—making them ideal for the commercial, emergency, and security sectors.

Distributed in the UK and Ireland by the respected Wolf Rock Boat Company, Galaxy brings a rugged, no-compromise approach to boatbuilding, with a range purpose-built for multi-role operations in the world’s most demanding environments.

Galaxy commercial RIBs are built around a proven deep-vee aluminium hull, designed to deliver a smooth ride and dependable seaworthiness in challenging conditions. The recyclable construction ensures long-term durability with reduced environmental impact.

Two models anchor the range:

• Pilot Series – A traditional RIB design with a Hypalon inflatable collar, suited to a wide variety of operational needs.

• Trident Series – Featuring a robust D collar system in Hypalon Air or Toughtec foam, this design suits demanding roles such as boarding, interception, and offshore support. The D collar increases internal space and improves deck storage, making better use of the available beam. Fully removable and replaceable on-site, the collars offer complete in-service support and reduced downtime. The modular design means damaged sections can be swapped quickly, a major benefit for commercial users needing fast, practical solutions.

Both series offer full custom-build capability, allowing operators to specify layouts, propulsion systems, and equipment packages to match their exact mission requirements. Whether for emergency response, security patrol, marine enforcement or commercial transport, Galaxy RIBs are engineered to deliver when it matters most.

Paul McCarthy, Managing Director of The Wolf Rock Boat Company, commented: “We are proud to bring the Galaxy brand to the UK and Ireland, in conjunction with expanding our footprint through the creation of a dedicated commercial division. These boats represent the reliability, performance, and configurability that today’s professional users demand.”

The full Galaxy RIB range is now available in the UK and Ireland through The Wolf Rock Boat Company. The Pilot 8 and Trident 8 models will be on display and available for demonstrations at Seawork 2025, taking place at Mayflower Park, Southampton, from 10– 12 June.
