GT Wings partners with A2O Manufacturing & KS Composites for AirWing ™ Technology

GT Wings announce a strategic partnership with A2O Manufacturing Ltd and KS Composites for the production of their groundbreaking AirWing ™ technology. This innovative wind propulsion system is designed for commercial shipping and aims to significantly reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

The AirWing™ technology promises to revolutionise the maritime industry by cutting fuel consumption and carbon emissions by up to 30%. This will help ship owners comply with stringent environmental standards set by the European Union (EU) and the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) while also achieving substantial fuel savings.

The first installation of the AirWing ™ system is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024 on a 124-meter general cargo vessel operated by Carisbrooke Shipping. This milestone marks a significant step towards the validation and widespread adoption of this cutting-edge technology.
