Macduff Ship Design announce the successful completion of ASD Tug Built in India

Macduff Ship Design has marked a major milestone in their journey as they announce the successful completion of ‘River Pearl 10’, an ASD Tug built by SYNERGY SHIPBUILDERS India for KMEW Group. The vessel exceeded expectations during trials, surpassing the 10 Tonne bollard pull and 10 Knot speed requirement with ease.

The project marks a significant achievement for the team at Macduff Ship Design as it is their first design to be built in India, with several more in the pipeline. It has been a pleasure for them to work with SYNERGY SHIPBUILDERS, KMEW Group, HYDROMASTER and Parikh Power who have all contributed to the successful construction of ‘River Pearl 10’.

The ‘River Pearl 10’ is an ASD Tug, a popular choice in vessel design which provides for superior manoeuvrability and control during towing and pushing operations. With its impressive bollard pull and speed specifications, it is a powerful vessel that is capable of performing various operations in a range of environments.

The successful completion of this project is a testament to the strength of collaboration between companies from different regions and cultures. Macduff Ship Design and SYNERGY SHIPBUILDERS have demonstrated their mutual commitment to delivering quality work and meeting client expectations.
