Mainprize Offshore partner with Alcuin to drive expansion

Founded in 1979, Mainprize Offshore is a market-leading European Crew Transfer Vessel (“CTV”) designer, owner and operator, supplying offshore wind farms across the North Sea. The company operates vessels that serve leading global offshore wind players including Orsted, Vestas, Vattenfall and RWE. Proprietary in-house vessel designs affords Mainprize’s CTVs a unique ability to operate in challenging conditions year-round, which is integral to their continued growth and success.

Bob and Sharon Mainprize commented: “We are excited to have partnered with Alcuin, who stood out to us from our first meeting. The team at Alcuin clearly understand the business and its growth potential, but also share in our personal values and recognise the importance of our culture. We look forward to partnering with Alcuin and are confident that together we will take full advantage of the market opportunity.”

Nick Seaman, Partner at Alcuin commented “Mainprize Offshore is a leader in the European CTV market and we are delighted to have partnered with Bob, Sharon and the wider team. The business enjoys strong relationships with several of the largest global wind farm developers and operators, and will play a key role in supporting the rollout of European offshore wind and the transition to net zero. We are excited to work with the team to help them expand and develop their fleet.”
