Marine Fire Safety announce the latest Workboat 1.2.3. agreement with Associated British Ports (ABP) in Wales, & Southampton.
Workboat 1.2.3 was launched in 2022 and is designed to offer customers a cost-efficient ‘one-stop-shop’ approach for all their sales, service and hire requirements. Covering all aspects of a vessel’s lifesaving equipment; the Workboat 123 package aligns all the safety equipment under one three-year agreement and includes all onboard and personal safety kit including liferafts, lifejackets and immersion suits, alongside their firefighting systems.
Mark Bresnahan, Managing Director at Marine Fire Safety, comments: “Working with ABP and getting their equipment and liferaft exchanges in-line with their fixed fire system will make a positive difference to the day to day running of their vessels. We understand the time-consuming nature of maintenance and servicing schedules and the rise in hire and servicing costs. Workboat 123 removes the hassle away from our customers by offering a cost-effective fire and safety solution, to cut logistical costs and save time in port.”
Dan Brown, Marine Asset Manager (South) at Associated British Ports comments:“I am pleased we are enhancing an already proactive relationship we have with Marine Fire and Safety. For ABP adopting Workboat 123 means we can further reduce downtime and ensure our vessels remain compliant with the required critical safety inspections and LSA equipment is replaced in a timely fashion.”
