MED MARINE delivers “Iron Dove” tug to SVITZER

MED MARINE, a leading Turkish tug builder, has officially delivered the MED-A2800 series “Iron Dove” to global towage operator SVITZER during a ceremony in Istanbul on February 20. The 28-meter RAstar 2800 Escort Tug, constructed at EREĞLİ SHIPYARD, represents the pinnacle of modern harbour tug design, combining advanced manoeuvrability with exceptional performance capabilities.

The 28-meter RAstar 2800 Escort Tug epitomizes a forward-thinking commitment to maritime sustainability, offering compatibility with an array of cleaner fuel options, including Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), Ultra-low Sulphur Marine Gas Oil (MGO), and DMA distillate.
