MED MARINE announce the successful launch of the MED-A2575, a state-of-the-art tug built with precision at the Ereğli Shipyard for SVS MARITIME, a part of the VERNICOS SCAFI GROUP. Officially launched on August 5, 2024, this vessel exemplifies MED MARINE’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional quality and innovation in the maritime industry.

The MED-A2575, measuring 25 meters in length and equipped with a powerful 75-ton bollard pull, is a versatile Robert Allan Ltd design RAmparts 2500W series tugboat. Built to meet Class FIFI-1 standards, it is designed to handle a variety of demanding tasks, including ship manoeuvring, towing, pushing, mooring, and firefighting. The tug is further equipped with an aft towing hook and capstan, enhancing its operational flexibility.
