Red Rock Marine AS has signed a contract for delivery of a 30T compact telescopic offshore crane

Red Rock Marine AS has signed a contract for delivery of a 30T compact telescopic offshore crane for the OHT offshore wind foundation installation vessel, Alfa Lift. The vessel is currently being built at the China Merchant Heavy Industry shipyard in China.

The Alfa Lift is a semi-submersible offshore wind foundation installation vessel of Ulstein design. The vessel will be delivered at the end of 2021 / early 2022.

The 30T compact telescopic offshore crane will assist Alfa Lift’s main crane during monopile installation. The crane is scheduled to be delivered to a European yard within Q1 2022.

– The new crane order for offshore wind shows that Red Rock is a trusted partner for mission critical equipment. Red Rock is also delivering Offshore Cranes to the next new build at China Merchant Heavy Industry, the “Les Alizés”, explains Thomas Holte, Chief Commercial Officer, Red Rock.
