Safetyboat.nl has HDPE landing craft built

Safetyboat.nl has commissioned Tideman Boats BV from Hoorn to build a new 10-meter landing craft. The boat will be made of HDPE. This material is 100% recyclable, has a low carbon footprint and lasts longer than other materials.

The new vessel will be used for various clients. The landing craft is extremely suitable for transporting people, materials and small vehicles over water and dropping them off at less accessible locations.

Vessel Specifications

The new landing craft will be 10 meters long and 2.90 meters wide. The boat is propelled by two 115hp outboard motors. This ensures a top speed of around 55 km/h. In addition, the vessel will be equipped with navigation lighting, work lighting, a heater, davit tap, orange flashing light, VHF radios, AIS, digital chartplotter, depth sounder and anchor.

The vessel will also have a moon pool so that various equipment can be placed to carry out sounding activities. The boat can be transported by road using a boat trailer.
