Salt Ship Design Secures Contract for ECVs with Asian Shipowner

Salt Ship Design, the innovative Norwegian naval architecture firm, has secured a landmark contract with a leading Asian shipowner for the design of two methanol-ready Energy Construction Vessels (ECVs) with options for two additional vessels. The SALT 311 ECV design represents a significant advancement in sustainable offshore construction capabilities.

Salt Ship Design will deliver a comprehensive design and engineering package on the projects.

The Energy Construction Vessels will be constructed at China’s Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group, combining Salt’s cutting-edge design expertise with world-class Chinese shipbuilding capabilities.
