On behalf of SeaZip Offshore Services, Mr. Jan Reier Arends – managing owner, has signed the Consortium Agreement.

‘We have recently been actively engaged in building a network and gaining knowledge about the developing Offshore Energy market in Poland. We aim to build international capabilities to provide a service fleet for Polish offshore projects, and to be active in mutual projects abroad. We are very pleased that this has resulted in a partnership with PZB Offshore. By working together, we can realise our common goals and ambitions, and our mutual projects are very ambitious’.

Jan Reier Arends, managing owner of SeaZip Offshore Service.

SeaZip was founded in 2010. The Dutch offshore shipping company is part of the JR Shipping Group and, therefore, has a robust maritime background. The operations of SeaZip’s offshore service and support vessels are managed by the shipping group’s fully certified ship management division.

SeaZip has a strong position in ship design, shipbuilding, and ship management and has already built up an impressive track record in the offshore wind market.

PŻB Offshore is subsidiary company of Polish Baltic Shipping (known also as Polferries). The new established Polish entity is dedicated to take part in local offshore projects and be active in mutual foreign ventures.

‘We are pleased with the dynamic development of the new company in our capital group. Offshore wind energy is an area which we see the potential to diversify our business’,

Andrzej Madejski, CEO of Polish Baltic Shipping Co.

‘The partnership with the SeaZip is bringing to us real and important value, which will be delivered to our local projects. It is very important moment not only for the Polish Baltic Shipping Group, but also for the whole Polish maritime industry and developing part of it, i.e. wind offshore energy sector. This great opportunity will create great possibilities of growth for both part’.
