Sentinel Marine, a UK based provider of emergency response and offshore support solutions, has signed a shipbuilding contract with Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd for a 65-meter Multi-Role Energy Support Vessel , with options for three additional vessels.
The newbuild – set for Q2 2027 delivery – will enhance Sentinel’s capability to service the offshore energy transition, maritime security, and government sectors with lower-emission operations.
The vessel is equipped with a fast rescue craft (FRC) and hybrid daughter craft, ensuring advanced emergency response capabilities. Designed to meet Dutch and Danish ERRV regulations, it also offers flexible accommodation for 37 to 47 personnel, making it ideal for diverse mission requirements.
