Tersan Shipyard is proud to announce the signing of a major construction contract with LS Marine Solution (subsidiary of LS Cable & System), for the build of one of the world’s largest cable-laying vessels (CLVs).
Designed by Salt Ship Design AS, the next-generation vessel will feature a 13,000-ton cable loading capacity, making it Asia’s largest cable-laying vessel by capacity. Notably, the vessel will be capable of simultaneously laying high-voltage direct current (HVDC) submarine cables and fibre optic cables, ensuring unmatched versatility and efficiency in the global subsea installation market.
This landmark project represents a strategic investment by LS Marine Solution to expand its offshore capabilities in response to the growing demand for renewable energy infrastructure and cross-border power transmission networks.
This high-profile cable-laying vessel order further reinforces Tersan Shipyard’s standing as a trusted builder of complex, high-specification vessels and highlights the increasing collaboration between global industry leaders in the pursuit of clean energy transformation.
