Ultraguard Antifouling awarded contract for providing antifouling protection for new Super SWATH

Ultraguard Antifouling are very pleased to report that we have been awarded the contract for providing antifouling protection for the ‘M08’, a new Super SWATH multi-role wind farm vessel currently in build at Manor Marine in Dorset. The 26-metre catamaran will be the latest vessel to join the 10-strong fleet operated by Mainprize Offshore in the North Sea.

Ahead of its launch in Q2 2022, M08 will be fitted with six Ultraguard Master Series units, three in each aluminium hull sponson (one per compartment), powering two transducers each. Together, the twelve transducers will provide complete protection against fouling below the waterline.

Master Series uses the same high powered and advanced signal generator and control circuits as the full size Ultraguard series but does so in a compact package powered by 12v or 24v DC. It was developed to bring the full power of a commercial shipping antifouling system to the small commercial workboat sector.

As well as on wind farm support vessels, Ultraguard’s ultrasonic antifouling systems can be found on a wide variety of boats and ships including harbour tugs, fishing vessels, superyachts, cargo vessels and ferries
