CoastWise celebrates christening ceremony of their third Monomaran crew tender

Under beautiful weather conditions, the christening ceremony of the third Monomaran crew tender “COS Mariner” of CoastWise Offshore Services took place on Friday 24 March at Next Generation Shipyard in Lauwersoog.

SeaZip congratulated CoastWise Offshore Services on the christening and official transfer of their third offshore crew tender vessel – MV COS Mariner!

SeaZip are proud to be involved as the commercial manager of these innovative and sustainable monomaran vessels, designed and built by Next Generation Shipyards. We endorse the unique characteristics and opportunities of these sustainable offshore service vessels and will carry out our task as commercial manager with great enthusiasm and commitment for MV COS Mariner as well as her sister vessels MV COS Master & MV COS Mate (delivered: December 2021 & September 2022)

SeaZip is a commercial partner of CoastWise, are excited to announce that the vessel will immediately start its first offshore wind project in France. SeaZip wish the management and crew of CoastWise Offshore Service a safe voyage and thank them for their trust and great cooperation!

The new Monomaran Crew Tender-Endurance class NG2727 meets the increasing demand for efficient and comfortable transfer of people and goods over longer distances to the offshore wind farms. The innovative design combines the advantages of a traditional catamaran and a monohull. The aluminium Monomaran Crew Tenders have a length of 27 meters, can accommodate 30 IP, and carry 15 to 22 tons of cargo. The maximum speed is 26 knots. A crane is standard equipment. The vessels are employable for both O&M activities and survey activities.
