CoCo Yachts Coastal Cruiser 196-S with reversed bow, named “Pegasus 3”, was built by Glow Marine of Singapore and recently entered service.
The vessel sails back and forth to Xiaoliuqiu (Taiwan). Xiaoliuqiu tourism is popular, more than 2 million people go back and forth every year, and the only way is to take a boat. The CC196-S is 30.95 meters long, has a beam over al of 10 meters, and during sea trails reached a recorded top speed of 44,2 knots!
Inside the vessel there is space for 196 passengers and two wheelchairs. Inside the passenger area’s are large floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides to ensure that passengers can watch the beautiful landscape.
MTU delivered the main engines (16V4000M65L), ZF the gearbox (9050), Kohler the generator set (99Kw) and Kongsberg the waterjets (S71-4).
