Dutch windscreen wiper specialist acquires Norwegian firm

Exalto Wiper Technologies has strengthened its product portfolio through the acquisition of Decca Wiper

Decca is a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of straight-line wiper systems based in Bergen with a worldwide client base. The company is part of the Fjell Technology Group AS.

Renowned for their systems in the commercial vessel market, it compliments and increases the Exalto product portfolio to allow further market expansion.

Decca have built a highly respected business with long-term links to the heavy marine market, and has a business is completely focused on clients’ needs and providing high levels of personal service. This deal marries two very complementary companies with people and clients at its core.

Within the next period the systems will gain type approval which allows greater reach into as yet untapped existing markets.

Exalto will further strengthen the capabilities across a now fully complimented range of wiper systems, and associated equipment, while Decca’s clients will benefi t from Exalto’s international distribution platform for sales and service.
