The recent announcement of the contract between FDA and Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted (FMV) for the construction of two new service vessels, anticipated to be ready by April and August 2025, signifies a significant milestone. Notably, FMV has fostered a longstanding and close collaboration with Finnøy Gear & Propeller, marking the 22nd and 23rd propulsion system deliveries to the shipyard.
