Two Leg Encircling Cranes and two Auxiliary Cranes will be installed aboard Cadeler T-Class vessels
Huisman has secured a contract from COSCO Shipping (Qidong) Offshore to supply two Leg Encircling Cranes and two Auxiliary Cranes for Cadeler’s next-generation T-Class offshore wind installation vessels.
The Leg Encircling Cranes feature an improved load curve designed to increase lifting performance and operational flexibility, supporting the installation of increasingly large and complex offshore wind components.
The two Auxiliary Cranes will provide additional lifting and handling capacity across a wide range of offshore operations, supporting safe and efficient vessel activities.
Manufactured at Huisman’s production facility in Zhangzhou, China, the cranes will be installed onboard Cadeler’s new vessels being built by COSCO in Qidong. The next-generation T-class vessels are designed to support the continued growth of the offshore wind industry, offering the capability and capacity required to install larger foundations and turbines.
