New FreshJet Rooftop HVAC System for Workboats and Patrol Vessels

Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions will showcase the Dometic FreshJet FJXM7-3500 at Seawork, highlighting a space-saving climate-control solution built for harsh marine environments.

Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions will introduce the marinised Dometic FreshJet FJXM7-3500 rooftop air-conditioning system at Seawork, showcasing a compact, self-contained climate-control solution engineered for the demanding requirements of commercial workboats, patrol craft and offshore support vessels.

The new FreshJet 220–240V AC unit provides 3500W cooling and 3000W heating in a single, self-contained rooftop installation. Available in white and black models, the FreshJet features marine-grade stainless components and coated coils, sealed systems and a wave-impact-tested compressor unit to withstand continuous operation in demanding marine conditions.

With inverter technology, the system delivers efficient performance with reduced start‑up current, supporting vessels operating with limited onboard power, hybrid systems or variable loads. The drop‑in rooftop design enables straightforward installation on new builds and refits, reducing yard time and avoiding major interior modifications. Its low-profile, streamlined form is suited to vessels where deck space, visibility and aerodynamics are operational considerations.

Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions will supply, install and support the FreshJet range across commercial marine applications, providing operators with a fully marinised, serviceable solution backed by established UK technical expertise.

Chris Fower, Managing Director at Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions, commented: “Building on our long-standing relationship with Dometic, we’re excited to be entrusted with launching this new unit to the commercial marine market at Seawork. The Dometic FreshJet is the next evolution of the DuraSea, building on a proven platform to meet the evolving demands of the marine sector. It delivers a high-quality, marinised climate solution designed for the realities of modern commercial vessels. Its low-power, drop-in design supports the shift towards more efficient onboard systems, while offering the reliability and simplicity that crews and builders depend on.”

The unit will be on display at the Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions stand Q84 at Seawork, 9-11 June.

Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions, a long‑standing exhibitor at Seawork, continues to expand its role in the commercial marine sector. Building on its experience across propulsion, power generation and integrated onboard systems, the company is now a proud sponsor of the Seawork Autonomy Trail, reflecting its commitment to supporting innovation, and becoming a trusted partner for operators and builders across the industry.
