Safehaven Marine supply 2nd Interceptor 48 pilot to the Port of Cromarty Firth in Scotland

Safehaven Marine have launched ‘Balblair’ an Interceptor 48 pilot built for the Port of Cromarty Firth in Scotland. She is the 2nd Interceptor 48 pilot delivered to the port, and will join her sister ship ‘Dalmore’ which has been working successfully at the Port since she was delivered in 2019.

Powered by a pair of Volvo D13 500hp engines she has a very economical 25kts operational speed. For pilotage accommodates of 5 pilots and 2 crew but can accommodate up to 12 for crew transfer operations. Her cabin is very well appointed and fitted, out providing a central helm position for optimal vessel control fitted with a full array of Furuno navigation equipment. Shock mitigation seating ensures crew and passenger comfort and she provides full live aboard facilities in her spacious lower forward cabin.
