A new ferry, built by Grupo ETE for the Câmara Municipal de Aveiro, has been unveiled, offering impressive capacity and modern design. With the ability to transport 260 passengers and 19 vehicles, this vessel is set to enhance transportation in the region.
Vera Navis Ship Design, known for their expertise in naval architecture and marine engineering, engineered this remarkable craft. They have been responsible for the complete design and production of the ferry.
Vera Navis Ship Design would like to extend their congratulations to all the partners involved in the project. Shift lead a consortium with Portuguese installation specialists Nave de Luz, to supply and install electrical components. Additional members of the consortium include Danfoss Editron, power electronic and Technology Venture Middle East Marine Services LLC, the technology integration consultants and Marine Electricals (I) Pvt. Ltd.
This new ferry is expected to bolster the transportation infrastructure in Aveiro, providing a reliable and efficient mode of transport for both passengers and vehicles.
