About Us
Teignbridge are a world-leading designer and manufacturer of precision performance propellers, sterngear and propulsion products. Employing CFD, simulation software and finite element analysis we guarantee the optimum design and performance for every project whether a motor yacht, fast patrol boat, pilot boat, super yacht or tanker. Using the latest CNC machinery and over 45 years of experience we produce the finest bronze propellers and stern gear from raw materials to the finished article at our UK based world leading facility. With over 65,000 sq ft of floor space and over 110 employees, Teignbridge is the largest propeller and stern gear producer of its kind in Europe.

Marine Propellers
Teignbridge Propellers design and manufacture their propellers entirely “in house” in our purpose-designed 6000 sq. m factory. This means that we can have complete control over quality, and this, together with our design ability, is why the company has a reputation for high quality, high strength, and high-performance products.
The whole process from initial design, application design, pattern/mould making, precision casting, machining, precision finishing, and inspection, is carried out in our factory under carefully controlled conditions.
Stern Gear
In addition to designing and manufacturing propellers, Teignbridge also designs and manufacture complete sterngear assemblies. Everything from bearings and shaft-struts to rudders and the lubrication systems to keep them running is supplied by the company. The entire shaft line system is manufactured completely in our factory, we can ensure that all products are of the highest quality and assemble together perfectly.
