Castoldi Waterjet Propulsion drives advanced USV at DIMDEX 2026

Italian waterjet propulsion showcases integrated propulsion solution on 13-metre unmanned surface vessel

Castoldi, a leading Italian manufacturer of advanced waterjet propulsion systems, is proud to announce its participation in DIMDEX 2026, taking place in Doha, Qatar. Exhibiting alongside its local distributor, Performance Marine Defence Solution, Castoldi will present an advanced 13-metre Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) project at stand H3-304.

The vessel is equipped with twin Castoldi Turbodrive 284 H.C.T. waterjets matched to 350 HP diesel engines, delivering a top speed exceeding 35 knots. The propulsion package is managed by ACES, Castoldi’s CAN bus electronic control system, which integrates engine and waterjet management with a Dynamic Positioning System and full remote control capability – enabling operation from either a shore-based station or via signal command.

“This project reflects Castoldi’s growing involvement in the unmanned vessel sector. The company is currently supporting multiple USV projects worldwide, supplying complete turnkey solutions that include its unique waterjet design featuring an integrated gearbox and other exclusive features that set it apart from any other product on the market, along with the ACES electronic control system,” said Giacomo Castoldi, CEO Castoldi S.r.L.
