The expansion reinforces Caudwell Marine’s commitment to the North American commercial marine market ahead of the AX300 Diesel’s launch later this year
Caudwell Marine has strengthened its North American operations with the appointment of two US-based Applications Engineers, strengthening its regional technical support network ahead of the commercial launch of the AX300 Diesel outboard later this year.
The appointments of Eric Guerette and Naydn Best strengthen Caudwell Marine’s regional technical capability, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting commercial operators, distributors and boat builders across North America as customer validation programmes continue. The announcement coincides with the first US field trial partner taking delivery of AX300 Diesel outboards for extended in-market evaluation, further strengthening the company’s real-world testing programme ahead of launch.
Bringing extensive experience supporting professional marine propulsion systems, the two engineers will work alongside Caudwell Marine’s UK engineering and technical teams to support engine commissioning, technical enquiries, product and service training, field support and distributor development. They will also provide a direct link between operators in North America and the engineering teams responsible for the continued development of the AX300 Diesel, ensuring real-world operational feedback continues to shape future product improvements.
Sarah Simpson, CEO of Caudwell Marine – “Building a premium commercial propulsion system is as much about the quality of the product as it is about giving professional operators the confidence that knowledgeable people are there to support them throughout the life of the engine.
From the beginning, we’ve been committed to building not only an exceptional diesel outboard, but also the technical expertise and customer support that sits behind it. Expanding our team in North America is another important milestone in that journey and demonstrates our long-term commitment to the region.”
The appointments form part of a broader strategy to establish a strong and sustainable presence in North America, alongside ongoing customer field validation, distributor development and technical training programmes.
Developed specifically for demanding professional marine applications, the AX300 Diesel combines durability, torque, control and fuel efficiency for operators working in sectors including military, offshore energy, patrol, passenger transport, aquaculture and search and rescue. The engine has completed thousands of hours of testing in demanding real-world conditions, including extreme heat and high salinity environments in the Middle East, cold-weather testing in Northern Europe and an expanding field validation programme in the United States. The recent delivery of engines to Caudwell Marine’s first US field trial partner marks another important milestone, enabling extended in-market testing with commercial operators ahead of launch.
As Caudwell Marine continues to expand its global presence, these latest appointments reinforce the company’s ambition to deliver not only a premium diesel outboard, but also the long-term technical support and customer partnership that professional operators expect.
