CGI OpenSea360 selected by Marine Specialised Technology Group for the UK Ministry of Defence Police and Gibraltar Defence Police high-speed patrol craft

CGI has been awarded a contract by Marine Specialised Technology Group (MST Group) to supply the mission systems for their state-of-the-art 15m high-speed patrol craft for the UK Ministry of Defence Police and Gibraltar Defence Police. The craft will replace the current police patrol launches and will have a key role in protecting HM Naval Bases in the UK and Gibraltar and undertaking high profile patrols of UK borders.

CGI OpenSea360 is a maritime mission system for sub 24m high-speed craft that offers a scalable, open-architecture solution to integrate platform systems, sensors, navigation and communications. Using multi-function displays, CGI OpenSea360’s user interface enables crews to have full use of systems at high speeds in significant sea states, supporting the operational requirement of the craft.

CGI OpenSea360 is used in existing Ministry of Defence fast boat programmes and civilian craft including the UK Royal Navy Patrol Launch for the Royal Navy Gibraltar Squadron where MST also selected CGI OpenSea360.
