Farra Marine is excited to announce the formal signing of a significant 3-year contract to provide comprehensive support during the construction and operations and maintenance phases of the Moray West Offshore Wind Farm. Ocean Winds, the 50:50 joint venture between ENGIE and EDP Renewables, is developing the Moray West project.
As part of the agreement, Farra Marine will deploy one of their cutting-edge IMO tier 3 crew transfer vessels, dubbed the Windflex-27. Built by Singapore’s Penguin Shipyard International, the 27-metre quad jet CTV equipped with state-of-the-art emission reducing engines, this vessel represents the forefront of clean and efficient maritime technology. The utilization of these vessels demonstrates Farra Marine’s dedication to minimizing environmental impact while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
