First Independent Walk to Work Solutions Provider launched

The first independent walk-to-walk solutions provider has been launched involving a collaboration of leading marine and offshore professionals.

Based in Aberdeen, Walk2Work Solutions (W2W Solutions) has been formed to help optimise offshore campaigns through the supply and management of additional personnel on board (POB) capacity offshore to assist with liquidating maintenance backlogs, discrete projects, TARs and decommissioning projects.

W2W Solutions has been formed to provide a source of independent expertise in the sector. The new company is driven by decades of combined experience in walk to work project planning, project management, engineering, marine operations and logistics management.

W2W Solutions combines the expertise of two leaders in their fields – Interocean Marine Services Ltd and Walk2Work Limited.  The new entity is independent of any asset owner, providing tailored solutions based on campaign requirements.  The team provide a full suite of walk to work project management services from project inception to project close-out andan assurance service to clients who already have their own walk-to-work teams – this ensures their offshore walk-to-work campaigns are truly optimised.

Martyn Garvie, Business Development Director, W2W Solutions, said:  “We are delighted to launch our new offering that will give truly independent advice and support to Operators and asset owners alike.  The sectors we operate in continue to transition to a more collaborative way of working and we believe our model and processes will help ensure our clients achieve optimised offshore campaigns.”

“Our key focus is to help Operators with whatever offshore POB challenges they may have. With our track record, processes and impartial expertise, we can help our clients achieve their campaign goals – whether we  provide our full suite of project management services or we work with existing W2W teams, we offer our expertise flexibly to provide the best solution possible.”

W2W Solutions has developed its own bespoke platform to support clients in W2W campaigns – the ADD™ platform (Appraise, Design, Deliver) is utilised from project inception to close-out.

Keith Nelson, CEO, Interocean Marine Services Ltd, added:  “The service this collaboration provide will bring huge efficiencies to maintenance campaigns allowing clients to optimise budgets and ensure there are no unnecessary cost over-runs.  We are delighted to launch this new partnership and bring a niche service to the offshore and marine sectors.”

The team of 12 consists of marine specialists, engineering professionals, project managers and logistics specialists who have worked on numerous walk to work projects in the North Sea since 2011.
