Korindo Energy to Supply Propulsion for Six Patrol Vessels

Six complete propulsion shipsets will feature Everllence main engines and Reintjes marine gearboxes for Indonesia’s new Offshore Patrol Vessels

Korindo Energy has secured a contract to supply complete engine and propulsion systems for six Offshore Patrol Vessel 61 (OPV 61) vessels being procured by Indonesia’s Directorate General of Marine and Fisheries Resources Surveillance (PSDKP), under the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.

The contract covers six complete engine and propulsion shipsets, comprising Everllence main marine engines, formerly known as MAN Energy Solutions, and Reintjes marine gearboxes.

The integrated propulsion packages are designed to deliver reliable, fuel-efficient performance for the demanding operational requirements of Indonesia’s maritime surveillance fleet.

The OPV 61 vessels will support PSDKP’s offshore maritime surveillance and fisheries enforcement activities, strengthening Indonesia’s capability to protect its marine resources and monitor its extensive waters.

For Korindo Energy, the contract further strengthens its position as a marine engine and propulsion system integrator serving Indonesia’s maritime, offshore and government sectors.

The company is working with global technology partners Everllence Singapore and Reintjes Asia Pacific to deliver the propulsion packages, supported by engineering expertise and after-sales services throughout the systems’ operational lifecycle.
