Performance platform delivers greater operational insight across CTV fleet

Seaward Services, a marine services provider delivering crew transfer vessel (CTV) support to offshore wind projects on the U.S. Northeast coast, has implemented AST Reygar’s BareFLEET remote monitoring and vessel performance platform across its crew transfer vessel – CTV fleet supporting offshore wind operations on the North-East coast of the United States.

The CTVs play a critical role in the safe transfer of technicians and equipment to offshore wind installations, where high levels of operational uptime and safety performance are essential. Any period of unplanned downtime can result in lost revenue and disruption to wind farm operations.

Seaward Services operates a fleet of high-performance Crew Transfer Vessels used to support offshore wind construction and maintenance projects. As Port Engineer I do not ride the vessels and cannot physically assist the crews when they are offshore experiencing problems. I can use this data to analyse events leading up to a problem, allowing me to better assist our crews remotely.”
