Robosys Automation Integrates VOYAGER AI REMOTE with Sleipner Thruster Technology

Sleipner and Robosys Automation have announced a strategic collaboration at Seawork 2026, combining their respective expertise in vessel propulsion and maritime autonomy to deliver enhanced operational capabilities for commercial and workboat operators.

The partnership integrates Robosys Automation’s intelligent autonomy platform with Sleipner’s high-performance thruster technology, creating a comprehensive solution designed to improve vessel control, manoeuvrability and operational efficiency.

VOYAGER AI REMOTE integrates seamlessly with Sleipner thrusters to enable accurate station keeping, dynamic positioning and vessel control. The system continuously monitors environmental and operational conditions, automatically adjusting propulsion to maintain stability, enhance safety, and optimise efficiency.

Suited for integration with up to four Sleipner thrusters, the system enables remote vessel control with advanced features including Track Control, Station Keeping, and Dynamic Positioning. This integrated approach supports current operational needs while providing a scalable pathway towards increased onboard and offboard remote and autonomous marine operations.

This joint solution represents a significant step forward in marine technology, enabling vessel owners and operators to benefit from improved handling and reduced workload while maintaining full operational oversight. By merging intelligent autonomy with precise propulsion response, the system supports complex mission profiles across a wide range of marine crewed and unmanned applications.

LD Armateurs has reached another milestone in the development of its offshore wind service fleet with the launch of Wind of Ocean, the first of two next-generation Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) being built for Vattenfall.
