First two vessels delivered under six-boat Supa Swath crew transfer vessel programme, with options for six more
Strategic Marine has delivered the first two Supa Swath crew transfer vessels to Mainprize Offshore, marking the initial milestone under a multi-vessel contract signed at Seawork in June 2024.
The delivery represents the first handover within a programme covering six Supa Swath vessels, with options for a further six units. It follows earlier collaboration in 2024 that saw MO10 and MO11 enter service as part of Mainprize Offshore’s growing fleet. The project reflects the ongoing partnership between Strategic Marine and Mainprize Offshore to expand fleet capability in support of offshore renewables operations across Europe.
The vessels are based on a next-generation Supa Swath design developed by Walker Marine Design, engineered to deliver high levels of stability, operational efficiency and versatility in demanding offshore environments. Designed to meet the evolving requirements of offshore wind operations, the vessels feature enhanced seakeeping performance, improved fuel efficiency through advanced propulsion systems, and modern navigation and communications technology to support safe and efficient operations.
