Strategic Marine Selects REINTJES Transmission Solutions

REINTJES Asia Pacific Pte Ltd have been selected by Singapore based specialist aluminium shipbuilder Strategic Marine (S) Pte Ltd to supply transmission solutions to Strategic Marine’s vessel projects.

Strategic Marine is a dynamic shipbuilder of high-speed aluminium crafts and have been actively engaging key equipment manufacturers to better manage against supply chain disruptions and challenges.

Both companies concluded a Purchase Agreement that enhances Strategic Marine’s ability to shorten its production timeline and ensure visibility in its vessel projects.

“We are constantly assessing the market and exploring ways to reduce potential delays surrounding critical equipment for our projects and ensure continued timely delivery of our projects,” says Strategic Marine Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chan Eng Yew.

The transmission solutions will comprise several REINTJES’ aluminium WVS type gearboxes of different size and scope combinations that fulfils all design variants and requirements of Strategic Marine’s projects.

REINTJES have over 80 years of experience in marine gearbox production and uses state-of-the-art computation tools and production technologies. REINTJES WVS gearboxes are operationally proven and are ideal for fast vessels with high performance demands.
