Our reputation relies on the fact that we only build quality vessels designed to be reliable over long periods, which are quick and easy to maintain. We listen to what our client is intending to achieve and design a boat to deliver that specific requirement.
Customers value our attention to detail and the savings our thorough work produces for them over the lifetime of a vessel. Through close relationships with our clientele and extensive studies into their working conditions, operator necessities, sea state and the latest technology available, we have successfully designed and built vessels for many professional and leading associations.
Goodchild Marine realised the potential for a dredger that could dredge in marinas and awkward places, which could build quay headings and drive piles.Â
Our expertise in dredging and design was recognised and in 2009 we were awarded a contract to design and build Kari Hege, a specialist 20 metre by 10 metre spud-leg pontoon to dredge a new basin in Wells Harbour to support a large offshore wind farm.
Driven by a 200 horsepower Hydromaster propulsion unit, Kari Hege was fitted out with the latest depth monitoring technology and a long-reach JCB back hoe.
This 121 Fast Pilot Vessel is designed by Pantocarene Limited, and provides fuel-efficient running at service speed, combined with excellent sea-keeping allowing surprisingly high transit speeds even in rough weather.
Designed by Pantocarene Naval Architects this hull form is fast and efficient lending itself to a Hybrid option, whilst maintaining the characteristics of the ORC 136.
