Guardacostas de Galicia Patrol Boat Powered by Castoldi Waterjets

Twin Castoldi TD 490 H.C.T. waterjets and ACES controls selected to enhance maneuverability and operational performance for Guardacostas de Galicia.

Castoldi has announced the latest addition to its portfolio of operational patrol and security vessels, with a new craft operated by the Guardacostas de Galicia equipped with twin Castoldi TD 490 H.C.T. waterjet propulsion systems integrated with ACES electronic control system.

The installation further strengthens Castoldi’s position within the patrol and coast guard sector, where high levels of reliability, manoeuvrability and operational performance are critical to mission success.

The twin TD 490 H.C.T. waterjets are integrated with Castoldi’s ACES electronic control system, which combines engine and waterjet management, Dynamic Positioning System (DPS) functionality and remote-control capability within a single platform. The system is designed to enhance vessel manoeuvrability and operational efficiency, while providing crews with precise and intuitive control in demanding patrol and coast guard applications.

Giacomo Castoldi owner of Castoldi said, “the latest Spanish deployment highlights the continued confidence placed in its waterjet propulsion technology by operators requiring dependable performance and enhanced vessel maneuverability for maritime security and law enforcement missions.”
