Maritime Partner chooses FPT Industrial engine with NOx ATS system

Maritime Partner, a leading player in the design and development of specialized vessels, has recently strengthened its collaboration with the Danish Coastal Rescue Service by powering their boats with engines from FPT Industrial and NOx After Treatment System from Frydenbø.

SCR IMO TIER III-COMPLIANT SOLUTION Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) designed to comply with IMO Tier III emission regulations for FPT Industrial marine engines ranging from 3 to 15.9 liters.

• Provides excellent environmental performance by reducing NOX emissions by over 70%.

• Real-time emission monitoring enabled by NOX sensor technology.

• Noise reduction with an average transmission loss of ~35dB.

• Flexible SCR system allows the maritime industry to reduce its environmental footprint while meeting NOX Tier III emission requirements.

• Lightweight and compact design (under 300 kg per engine, including urea tank) for flexible installation, operation, and maintenance.

The FPT Industrial N67 550 is a powerful and reliable marine engine belonging to the N67 engine series by FPT Industrial. This engine is designed to deliver impressive performance and reliability, and it is particularly well-suited for use in marine applications, including commercial vessels, fishing boats, and other maritime scenarios.

The engine boasts an impressive torque curve, providing increased acceleration and quicker response, crucial for vessels navigating challenging waters.

FPT Industrial N67 550 is also renowned for its reliability and durability. Constructed with high-quality components and subjected to extensive testing to ensure performance under demanding conditions, it makes it ideal for coastal rescue services and other commercial vessels.

“The collaboration with Frydenbø as our partner for propulsion systems and environmentally friendly solutions has been positive for our project. Frydenbø’s commitment to reducing NOx emissions has strengthened our dedication to sustainable and responsible solutions. Their expertise has ensured that our project meets the stringent IMO Tier III requirements, and we are satisfied with the work that has been done.” Hans Petter Klokk, VP Project Management
