OXE Marine to Supply Swedish Maritime Administration with OXE300 Outboard Engines

OXE Marine AB announce that it will supply the Swedish Maritime Administration (“Sjöfartsverket”) with OXE300 outboard engines and rigging equipment through its distributor, SARj. The engines will power three different vessels set to go into operation during the spring.

Over the past three years, SARj has been active in the Swedish and Finnish markets, building up the dealer network and supporting OXE in these markets. The order from the Swedish Maritime Administration is a positive signal that OXE300 Outboard Engines are reaching a broader commercial audience.

“It feels great to provide a solution to them with several new benefits compared to traditional drivetrains. The OXE solution can truly save fuel economy by using all the benefits of an outboard engine. Additionally, the benefits of a heavy-duty marine hydraulic gearbox are included, along with a well-proven diesel engine from one of the largest suppliers of automotive diesel engines. All OXE engines can run on HVO100, a synthetic diesel that can be locally produced and reduce CO2 emissions by up to approximately 92%, providing a smart environmental solution without sacrificing on performance or range.” says Andreas Cederqvist, Co-owner of SARj.

“We are very pleased to collaborate with SARj on the order for the Swedish Maritime Administration. Our ongoing efforts to expand the diesel outboard market are gaining momentum, with growing interest in OXE Marine’s innovative technology from commercial and governmental users within the Swedish marine industry.” says Paul Frick, CEO of OXE Marine.
