Habbeke Shipyard secure a contract from the newly established Search & Rescue organizations on the Dutch Caribbean islands of Saba and Sint Eustatius, for two of its renowned High-Speed Aluminium Search and Rescue boats, the FRC903 – SAR boats.
The SAR boats will be equipped with cutting-edge features to ensure optimal performance and safety during rescue missions. Each vessel will be powered by twin Volvo Penta D4-270 engines driving Hamilton Jet HJ 241 waterjets, providing unparalleled speed and manoeuvrability. Suspension seats from Ullman Dynamics will enhance crew comfort and stability in challenging maritime conditions.
In addition, the SAR boats will have the IWCS communication system onboard, facilitating seamless and reliable communication among crew members for effective coordination during operations.
