SEAM, a leading supplier of low and zero emission technology to the maritime industry, announces today the acquisition of Austevoll Elektro AS, a total supplier of maritime electrical services and system solutions with over 50 years of experience in the industry.
SEAM, which has had strong success in a wide range of vessel segments, has big growth ambitions. With this acquisition, SEAM strengthens its position as a total supplier in the Norwegian market, especially within vessels for aquaculture and farming.
This acquisition will significantly increase our maritime service offering and capacity, and give us an even stronger position in the market for smaller vessels, says Gunvald Mortvedt, CEO of SEAM.
Austevoll Elektro’s expertise in electrification and automation complements SEAM’s existing service offering in system development, system integration, digitization and electrification.
