Artemis Technologies Wins Technology and Innovation Award at the Maritime UK Awards

Clean maritime technology company Artemis Technologies has been honoured with the prestigious Technology and Innovation Award at the Maritime UK Awards.

Recognising the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable maritime solutions, Artemis Technologies received the accolade at a ceremony held in the world-famous Titanic Belfast.

Over the last 12 months, the company has pushed the boundaries of what is possible within the maritime industry by developing category defining, first-of-its kind technology and vessels. Working closely with classification societies to collaboratively aid the compliance of this new class of vessel, Artemis Technologies is setting new industry benchmarks to evolve the standards for the next generation of vessels.

Speaking of the win, Dr Iain Percy OBE, CEO of Artemis Technologies, commented: “This recognition fuels our commitment to pioneering innovative solutions to revolutionise maritime transport.  We are proud to be at the forefront of driving positive change in the maritime industry worldwide, shaping a more sustainable future for generations to come. Winning the Technology and Innovation Award at the Maritime UK Awards is a significant honour and a testament to our team’s dedication and industry-wide collaboration.”

Artemis Technologies plays a pivotal role in industry collaboration as both a founding member of the Northern Ireland Maritime & Offshore network and leading organisation in the Belfast Maritime Consortium. The Consortium will soon launch the Artemis EF-24 Passenger, the world’s first 100% electric foiling ferry to meet the International Maritime Organization’s High Speed Craft code.

This award is the latest recognition by Maritime UK of Artemis Technologies’ efforts to decarbonise the maritime sector, having previously chosen the company as winner of the Innovation Award in 2023.
