Mustafa BANKAOĞLU, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, stated in his speech that he was pleased that the cooperation that started in 2020 with Uzmar Shipyard continued with these new projects, that the new tugboats and pilot boats will contribute to the navigation safety of the Turkish Straits and that the General Directorate of Coastal Safety fleet will continue to grow in the coming years.

A. Noyan Altuğ: “It’s a matter of prestige for us” UZMAR Board Chairman A. Noyan ALTUĞ stated in his speech that they were proud to have been able to carry out such an important project for the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, one of the most valuable institutions of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, and that this project was a prestige project for them.

A. Noyan ALTUĞ added that UZMAR would always be by the side of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety within the scope of lifetime support services after the delivery of the two sister tugboats and six pilot boats, and added that they would carry their worldwide expertise even further in the construction of the RAstar 2800 series tugboats and Camarc Design PB1580 pilot boats, and that he believed that these tugboats and pilot boats, which are products of Turkish engineering and have the highest standards of maritime capabilities and equipment, would best ensure the safety of our country’s seas.
